Born in Alicante in 1968, Villalba studied the Arts in his hometown, completing his education in the San Carlos Art School in Valencia.
Almost improvisational as an artist, Villalba paints in oils and is technically bold and adventurous. His work is both expressive, vibrant with colours and contrasts, yet he still achieves a harmonious composition in the completed work. Acknowledged as a master of many subjects, Villalba has a particular penchant for Venetian scenes.
